Muscat, 10 January 2026 – GWM Oman successfully hosted the GWM Haval H9 Family Fun Fest on 9 January 2026, bringing together more than 30 families for a full day of desert adventure and shared experiences. The event offered an exclusive opportunity for Haval H9 owners and their families to experience real-world desert driving across Wahiba Sands in a safe and organised convoy format.
The day began with participants gathering at the GWM showroom in Wattayah for a morning briefing and preparation session before setting off together in a guided convoy. Families then drove their own Haval H9 vehicles towards Wahiba Sands, where the SUV’s genuine 4x4 capability was demonstrated over long distance desert routes and light off-road terrain, while maintaining high levels of comfort for all passengers.
